ACL-8113
32 Channel S.E. Isolated A/D Card

Introduction

The ACL-8113 is a 12-bit 32-channel single-ended isolated A/D card for the IBM PC and compatibles. The ACL-8113 is an extremely cost effective solution for applications in industrial measurement and monitoring.

The ACL-8113 is designed to meet high voltage isolation on each analog channel. An opto-isolator gives 500V DC isolation to protect both your PC and peripherals from damage due to high input voltage. In addition, two DC-to-DC converters and software programmable gain on each channel are provided for stability and flexibility.

The ACL-8113's register structure and jumper settings are fully compatible with ACL-813 and Advantech's PCL-813. No added learning time will be necessary for those who are familiar with Advantech's products. In addition, many reliability and performance enhancements are designed into the ACL-8113. Such enhancements include surface mount component design and single +5V power consumption only, etc.

Features

Applications

Utility

The Utility provided with the ACL-8113 includes the following:

Program Library

An extensive library of functions are available to support Microsoft C and Borland C/C++. There are many C example programs showing how to write data acquisition programs for ACL-8113

Windows 3.x Driver (ACLS-DLL2)

ACLS-DLL2 is a high performance data acquisition driver for developing custom applications under Windows 3.x. It handles all data acquisition operations including interrupt or software data transfer, etc. The Windows driver is supplied as a DLL that can be accessed from C, C++ and Visual Basic under Windows. In addition, its Application Programming Interface (API) is designed similar to Program Library in the DOS environment. It is very easy to transfer a DOS application to Windows program, just add some Windows instructions.
