Applications

The ACLD-9178/9188 is specifically suitable for passive signal conditioning components. The circuit to the right is an example of adding signal conditioning circuits of screw connectors A1 and A2.

Flat Cable Connector Screw Terminal

Straight-Through Connection (Default Setting)

R1A = Short (0W) R1B and C1 = Open


Single-Ended Voltage Attenuator

C1 = Open
Attenuation = R1B/(R1A + R1B)
Example: 10 : 1 Voltage Attenuator
R1A = 9KW, and R1B = 1KW


Low-Pass Filter

R1B = Open

Example: 1.6KHz Low Pass Filter
R1A = 10KW, C1 = 0.01µF


4-20mA to 1-5VDC

R1A = Short (0W), C1 = Open
R1B = 250W(0.05% Tolerance) for 0 to 5V Conversion
