Windows 3.x Driver For Counter/Timer Cards

Introduction

The ACLS-DLL3 is a Microsoft Windows 3.x driver for our ACL-8454 12 channel Counter/Timer Card. The driver supports high performance and multi-tasking Counter/Timer functions for developing Windows applications.

The drivers are all DLL (dynamic-link library) version for use under Windows. They can work with any Windows programming language that allows calls to a DLL, such as Microsoft C/C++ and Microsoft Visual Basic. The function calls in these DLL's use intuitive names that reflect the operations they perform.

1. W_830_Initial: Up to 8 Timer/Counter Cards can be initialized simultaneously
2. W_830_Active_Card: Select an active card for operation
3. W_830_Get_Card: Get the current active card ID
4. W_830_Set_MasterMode: Set counter's master mode register
5. W_830_Set_Countmode: Set counter mode register
6. W_830_Count_Cmd: Perform operations of each counter
7. W_830_Set_LoadReg: Write data to a selected counter's load register
8. W_830_Get_HoldReg: Get a selected counter's hold register
9. W_830_Set_Time: Set time with counter 1 & 2 or Am9513
10. W_830_Get_Time: Read time from hold registers of counter 1 & 2
11. W_830_INT_Start: Start interrupt count data transfer operation
12. W_830_INT_Status: Get the status of interrupt data transfer operation
13. W_830_INT_Stop: Stop the interrupt data transfer operation
14. W_830_Set_Chip: Select Am9513 chip
15. W_830_Get_Chip: Get current active Am9513 chip
16. W_830_Measure_Frq: Measure the frequency with counters of Am9513
17. W_830_Get_Pulse: Measure the pulse width with counters of Am9513
18. W_830_DO_16: Output to 16 digital outputs
19. W_830_DI_16: Input from 16 digital inputs
20. W_830_DO_8: Output to 8 digital outputs
21. W_830_DI_8: Input from 8 digital inputs
22. W_830_Err: Get error messages
