Introduction
The AR-B3202F can be operated with 8 differential or 16 single-ended inputs & can be set in unipolar or bipolar modes. The input configuration is set by switches on the board. Maximum A/D throughput is up to 100KHz.
A/D conversion can be triggered by software, by pacer or by external trigger pulse. The transfer of the data can be accomplished by programmable control, by interrupt service routine or by DMA. All modes are selectable by software.
The AR-B3202F has a wide variety of available input ranges which are selected by a DIP switch on the board. Selectable ranges include +1V, +2V, +5V, +10V, ±0.5V, ±1V, ±2.5V, ±5V, ±10V. Other user selectable input ranges can be obtained by simply installing a single gain setting resistor.
The AR-B3202F also features 2 channels of multiplying 12-bit D/A output. The DACs can use a fixed -5V reference avail-able on board for a 0 to +5V output range. Alternatively, an external AC or DC reference can be used to give different output ranges or programmable attenuator action on an AC signal. D/A's are double buffered to provide instantaneous single-step updates. The data transfer of D/A can be accomplished through software, interrupt service routine or DMA (D/A channel 0 only)
The AR-B3202F comes complete with a utility software package that greatly simplifies the operation of the board. The utility software includes:
The board is supported by most major data acquisition & control software packages such as Labtech Notebook, Asyst, Asystant, Unkelscope, Snapshot &
others.
