Introduction
The AR-B6016 card provides many I/O functions to reduce the host computer's workload. It is designed to
allow the host computer to read inputs or write
outputs directly.
Features
- 16 photo-couple isolated input channels, 4 SPDT RELAY output channels
- 5VDC to 24VDC input range
- 2.5A & 125V AC/DC maximum for each relay contact and 30W DC or 60 VA AC maximum
- Varistor installed for each output to prevent it from over voltage
- On-board single chip processor with watch-dog timer
- Built-in intelligent BIOS with 8K bytes of SRAM data space
- Uses I/O handshake method between host computer and AR-B6016
- Wait and interrupt circuits for real time I/O processing
- Rechargeable battery guarantees SRAM data retention
