Introduction

Enhanced All-In-One single board computers have become a very important part of this industry, and our AR-B1460 covers all the requirements necessary to build a solid solution. This 486 machine has a solid state disk (SSD) option, NE2000 compatible ethernet, PC/104 bus expansion, and a 1MB VGA controller that can drive both CRT's and LCD's simultaneously or independently.

The onboard SSD emulates a floppy drive allowing you to boot from solid state memory using DOS or WINDOWS, and for I/O communications, the AR-B1460 has 4 com ports. Three RS-232 and one RS-485/422/232 port. One port is at TTL level for even greater perrformance. There is also a watch dog timer that can be configured from software which can either automatically reset the system or generate an interrupt if there is a system or EMI problem.

If more functions are needed, the PC/104 bus allows you to add up to 6 modules. This will allow you to use an internal modem, PCMCIA interface, additional solid state memory and many other PC/104 modules available on the market today.

The AR-B1460 is perfect for high performance panel PC's. POS applications, network systems, test equipment, or as an embedded controller for OEM projects. The board is only 146x203mm, so it is the right size for just about any applications.
