Introduction
Our new EIPC features an enhanced mechanical design and meets EIA RS310C
19" Rack Mount specifications. EIPC is specifically designed for brutal
industrial environments and help isolate the electronics from Shock, Vibration,
Heat, Dust, Moisture and Sprayed Liquid. EIPC provides three 5.25"
drive housing and one 3.5" drive housing. The unit comes with a 14-slot
back panel installed and will fit up to14-slot passive backplanes. Also
provided are two extra back panels. One for installation of a Baby AT form
factor motherboard and another for installation of an ATX form factor motherboard
(I/O shield is not included and must conform to your ATX motherboard). A
large (12cm x 12cm x 2.5cm ball bearing sleeve) cooling fan is installed
in the front panel to assist in system cooling and an easy to reach and
washable fan filter helps keep dust and other airborn particles from being
sucked into the system via the cooling fan. (EIPC replaces old C.S.I. part
# SH-1800).
