Introduction
This is a premium quality product with a design based on the Intel 430HX PCI set for demanding industrial users who want great features in a small package. The AMI BIOS supports hard drive auto detection and plug & play peripherals.
A high performance VGA subsystem is included. Integrated on-board with 2 meg of EDO video RAM installed and implementing a high performance ATImach64 advanced 264VT 64-bit graphics engine with 135MHz 24-bit true color RAMDAC and a dual clock frequency synthesizer. The ATI easy compatibility and enhanced drivers included allow for easy setup and full support for most operating systems and applications.
Other features include two 16C550 FIFO compatible high speed serial ports, one enhanced parallel port (EPP/ECP/SSP), two FD and up to 4 IDE (dual bus mastering/PCI EIDE) devices. If the end user chooses parity DRAM modules (optional), this system board can detect multi-bit memory errors and correct 1-bit memory errors.
